  • The French alphabet did not use the letter 'W' and it was later added as English required it.

  • The first column begins with 1 and ends with a 3.
  • The second column begins with a 4 and ends with a 6.

  • Braille is read from the left to the right.
  • The first 10 letters include only the top 4 dots. (1 2 4 5)
  • The first 10 symbols are also the numbers if following a Number symbol. "#"

  • The second row of letters includes dot number 3.
  • The final row of letters includes both of the bottom dots 3&6.
